José Luis Mosquera is the spokesperson on health related topics for Consumer Reports en Español. In his role, he writes an expert health column for the web site, selects and adapts health articles of relevance to Latinos based on his more than two decades of experience serving the Hispanic community.

Dr. Mosquera is a recognized expert, teacher and author in the field of integrative medicine, a specialization that emphasizes the individual relationship between patient and doctor and makes use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative.   In addition to 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Mosquera is clinical director of integrative medicine at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark as well as clinical instructor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
