This year, Christy’s work has been published in Food & Nutrition Magazine and Bloggers of Health Magazine; she has recently been quoted in Food Network’s Healthy Eats blog, GalTime and College Lifestyles magazine. She is the Food and Fitness blogger for the international employee service organization Life Works and since 2009, Christy has been the health columnist for Tail Winds outdoor fitness magazine.

Her work the HIV/AIDS community spans over a decade and continues at El Rio Community Health Center’s Special Immunology Associates where she counsels clients and teaches a bi-monthly healthy cooking class. Christy recently earned her teaching certification and will be teaching the first vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free cooking classes at Pima Community College Culinary Arts Program.

When she isn’t writing, teaching or speaking, you’ll find Christy riding her bike, kicking a soccer ball with her kids or in the kitchen teaching them how to make Mexican rice. She currently resides in Tucson, AZ with her husband and two young children.
