Limited Capacity seats available

The sudden proliferation of organizations whose main objective is to make computer coding more accessible to the general population and in particular, to underrepresented groups, underscores the fact that increasingly it is being recognized that learning programming can provide students with multiple benefits. They include becoming better learners, developing a deeper understanding of technology and having a wider and better paid range of career options. Participants in this workshop will hear from educational experts and researchers about the benefits of giving students the opportunity to develop coding knowledge and skills, the best ways to do this, and the efforts underway to make computer coding an important part of the K-12 curriculum.
