LATISM13 National Conference

We'll talk about the experience of maintaining heritage and language while living in the USA, and hear some great tips from pros on how to balance a bilingual, bicultural family. In this interactive workshop, participants will discover how their dual identity facilitates success in both the personal and professional realm. Participants will explore their passions, how to be true to their word, and how to honor their heritage and living voice. The emphasis will be on both/and…not either/or as you gain clarity and focus about who you want to be.

Our target audience is anyone interested in bilingual education. Anyone with kids, or who plan to have kids, and are interested in knowing how to keep two languages and cultures alive at home. Anyone interested in bilingualism who would like to hear about the real, day-to-day workings of living bilingually.
